Jewels isnt secret & its neither world class, in fact its rather fickle with a sharky reputation, also there are currents which make paddling a chore to stay on the peaks. usually, its a weekend 4wd mission to find the right break from redhead to belmont/blacksmiths. lovely spot, few idiots though on bikes & quads & ive seen a few accidents there. the entrance is hidden by bushland but is becoming more exposed these days.
